A townhouse in Sherman Oaks, updated top to bottom in one project: a white shaker kitchen with a quartz peninsula, wood-look vinyl plank through the living space and up the stairs, and two refreshed bathrooms.
The project
One look from the kitchen to the stairs.
The owners wanted the whole unit to feel new and consistent, without moving walls. We kept the kitchen where it was and rebuilt it with white shaker cabinets that run up to the soffit, a quartz peninsula that opens the kitchen to the dining area, a stainless gas range and an over-the-range microwave. Matte black pulls tie the cabinets to the black fixtures used in the rest of the house.
Wood-look luxury vinyl plank runs through the living room, kitchen and hall and continues up the stairs, so every room reads as one space. Upstairs, the bathrooms got white shaker vanities with quartz tops, black faucets and new lights, and the walls and trim were painted throughout.
