Remodeling in Tarzana

What is different about remodeling in Tarzana?

Tarzana runs from flat ranch lots in the north to gated hillside estates up toward Mulholland, and the two ends call for different projects. South of the Boulevard, communities like Mulholland Park have large custom homes and their own architectural review, so exterior work has to clear the HOA before it goes to LA City. Hillside rules then govern grading and structure on the slopes. North of the Boulevard the lots flatten out into larger parcels where ADUs and additions fit easily.

Most of our Tarzana work is estate kitchens and primary suites built around cabinets from our own workshop. We also update custom homes from the '70s through the '90s whose layouts have aged worse than their structure, and we build ADUs on the flat lots.
