Marina del Rey Bathroom Remodel
A darker, spa-like bathroom in Marina del Rey: glossy green tile in the shower, large stone-look porcelain on the floor and walls, a wall-hung black toilet, a single glass panel and warm industrial lighting.
The project
From a shower curtain to a green-tiled spa shower.
Before, this was a plain white bathroom with a shower curtain and a freestanding shelf. The owners wanted something warmer and darker that felt more like a small spa.
We tiled the shower in glossy green vertical tile with niches built into the wall and set large stone-look porcelain on the floor and the other walls. The toilet is wall-hung with the tank inside the wall, which frees up floor space and makes cleaning easier. A single fixed glass panel keeps the shower open, and matte black fixtures, towel bars and caged sconces finish the room.
